Terms of Service

By accessing or using JobResume! (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

JobResume! is a free, browser-based resume builder and career toolkit designed to help users create, edit, and download professional resumes, and to use optional AI-powered tools such as tailoring a resume to a job, importing an existing CV, generating cover letters, reviewing a resume, and practicing mock interviews. No login is required, and your content is stored locally in your browser.

The Service's AI features are optional and run only when you choose to use them. When you do, the content required for that task is sent to a third-party AI provider (by default via OpenRouter, or a provider of your choice if you supply your own API key) for processing.

• AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying any content before you use or submit it.
• The Service does not guarantee any particular result, including interviews, job offers, or improved outcomes.
• Your use of a third-party AI provider is also subject to that provider's own terms and privacy policy.

You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of the content you create using the Service. JobResume! does not review, store, or moderate user-generated content.

• Ensure that your data complies with applicable laws and regulations.
• Do not upload or generate content that infringes on others' rights.
• Use the Service only for lawful personal or professional purposes.

You agree not to misuse the Service. Prohibited activities include:

• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its systems.
• Using the Service for fraudulent, harmful, or unlawful activities.
• Copying or redistributing the Service for commercial use without permission.
• Abusing the AI features, including attempts to overload, scrape, or circumvent rate limits and usage protections.

The JobResume! name, logo, and associated designs are the property of JobResume!. You retain full ownership of the resume content you create.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. JobResume! does not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and does not warrant the accuracy, reliability, or fitness of any AI-generated content.

In no event shall JobResume! be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service, including loss of data or profits, or reliance on any AI-generated content.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of the Service after updates means you accept the revised terms.
